CABO DE LA VELA – PUNTA GALLINAS
The Guajira Desert is located in the Guajira Peninsula and in the northernmost part of South America. Its average temperature is 27°C with a lot of wind all year round. It is an ideal place to practice sports such as kitesurfing, sailing, etc., but not only!
La Guajira is a region of contrasts: the orange colour of the desert and the intense blue of the sea, the colourful clothes of its local population and the vegetation of its Oasis. Its inhabitants, the indigenous Wayuuu, are a people faithful to their traditions and consider themselves to be the children of rain and earth.
It is an isolated region of Colombia with infrastructure for adventurers. The stay “the magnificent desert of the Guajira” is an idea of a trip off the beaten track. It is ideal for those who wish to go on an adventure and share with the Wayuuu natives in a setting of exceptional beauty.
